Bath County News-Outlook Your Hometown Newspaper Jan. 5, 2011 5 Opal Helphenstine had a Missionary's heart and a love for people. Her latter years were spent doing Home Missionary Work. Her little Faith Mission Church in downtown Flemingsburg provided funds to many foreign missionary works. She had a heart for missions and sacrificed to live on the dime and give God 90%. Many people from Bath County would remember Opal since in her younger years she ministered in the East Fork and Pebble areas. Harold and I wanted to share this with our friends and relatives in Bath County since this was Harold's home growing up. Opal's nephew, Harold Dean Martin, son of Wanda and Harold Martin (youngest sister of Opal's) seems to have had her mantle fall on him. Harold Dean's heart is with the Haitian people. He is a Missionary Pilot for Missionary Flights International known as (MFI). Harold Dean is an Executive Assistant at MFI.
