The county began work this week on rebuilding a bridge over Bald Eagle
Creek on Peck's Pike, just off of Hwy. 36 West near Sharpsburg. The Kentucky
Transportation Cabinet provided a $43,000 grant to the Bath County Fiscal Court
back in November 2011, which required that the county come up with a 20%
match. Work is being done by E & H Bridge and Ron's Concrete.

Feb. 27, 2012, at the Bath
County Extension Office.
Equine owners .and en-
thusiasts from Bath and
surrounding counties are
invited to attend a semi-
nar by Dr. Fernanda Ca-
margo, UK Equine Exten-
sion Specialist, on "Keep-
ing your Horse Healthy
Year Round." There will al-
so be a short presentation
prior to the seminar about
the upcoming Kentucky
Equine Survey, which is
being held in the sum-
mer of 2012 and involves
all breeds, all types of
equines, and all disciplines
across Kentucky.
The UK College of Agri-
culture has partnered with
the Kentucky Horse Coun-
cil, the University of Louis-
ville, and the National Ag-
ricultural Statistics Ser-
vice to make this project a

Math Department partners with
MSU Math Department
The BCHS Math depart-
ment is currently partner-
ing with Morehead State
University to offer dual
math classes for the fol-
lowing courses. Mrs. Kim
Halsey and Mrs. Lisa Wil-
lis work closely with MSU
to insure that the following
courses meet MSU guide-
lines.

to our juniors and seniors.
Many of our students will

gram to insure that all our
students are college ready
in mathematics.

The math department is
very proud of all the stu-
dents who completed their
dual math courses and ex-
tremely proud of the three
young ladies who complet-
ed two or more classes
with a semester.
