avoid criticism: never do
anything original; never
amount to anything; never
get your head above the
crowd so the jealous will
never notice. All criticism
is a sign that your personal-

My name is Jeremy Bailey and I am a candidate for Bath County PVA in the upcoming Primary
election on May.20th. For those who may not know me I am the son of Elgin (Jr.) and Linda
Bailey. I have an older brother Jason and younger sister Kristen. I am also the grandson of the late
James & Alma Wells and Elgin & Vivian Bailey. From my raising I was taught the importance of
hard work and morals that seem to be lacking in the world more every day. I was also taught the
importance of HONESTY and if I have to lie to reach my go,d, I'would rather not reach it.
I am a lifelong resident of Bath County and, to be honest, have no intentions of ever leaving. I cur-
rently reside in Peasticks. I graduated from Bath County High School in 1998 and then furthered
my education at Morehead State University- and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in
Agrictdtural Science.
I have worked directly with the public of Bath County since high school as a stock derk/bag boy
at Manuel's Pic-Pac and following that I worked at Richardson's IGA as an assistant meat cutter.
After graduating college in 20031 started working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Family
Support Specialist at the Cabinet for Health & Family Serviced until January 2014. So for more
than 17 years I have worked with the citizens of Bath County in different capacities. Currently, I
am employed at Lowe's Home Improvement in lvlt Sterling. i wish to continue working with the
citizens of Bath County and am asking for your vote and support in order to do so.
If elected, I will have only two deputies (the county currently has three). I have asked Stephanie
Lawson Crouch and Jennifer Bailey Griffin to serve as my deputies and they have agreed to do so.
Stephanie is also a lifelong resident of Bath Co. and a1990 graduate of Bath Co. High School. She
resides on Hart Pike with husband, Mike and son Jesse. She has worked for the Bath Co. Coopera-
tive Extension Service as an administrative assistant for eight years and prior to that worked as a
human resource assistant at a manufacturing company for five years. She has worked in customer
service for over 25 years.
Jennifer is a 1985 graduate of Bath Co. High School and was a site coordinator at WeCare Medical
and prior to that worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing. She has one son, Dallan, and they cur-
rently reside in Sharpsburg.
IfI am elected I know these two hard working ladies are dedicated to receiving any and all training
they will need in order to assume their responsibilities as deputies. Their outgoing and friendly
personalities, along with many years of experience in customer service, will most certainly bring
friendly, courteous, efficient service to all who ef~ter the office.
I will make the promise that if electe/t, the PVA office will be run with the utmost professionalism
at all times. I will be DEDICATED to not only my job but to you the citizens of Bath Comity. Every
citizen will also be treated FAIRLY. I believe this wotdd be ~i progresswe change for our county.
I hope to get to meet everyone in.the upcoming months and would like to thank everyone for the
support they have shown me so far and ask for your continued support and prayers over the next
few months. I would be honored to serve as your Bath County PVA.
