Cline has had a first hand update on the U.S. battle against terrorism. He met U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft during a meeting of the Eastern District of Kentucky's anti-terrorism task force. After the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2002, Ashcroft set up 93 such task forces nationwide, each headed by federal prosecu- tors. The meeting held in Lexington earlier this year, focused on prevention and dif- ferent agencies sharing informa- tion with each other. He represents MSU as a member of the task force. Cline joined MSU's Police Department in 2001 and assumed his current position earlier this year. He came to the University after serving as a patrolman for 10 years and a detective for six years with the Morehead Police Department. He also has been a dispatcher/patrolman with the Olive Hill Police Department and a clerk/dispatcher in the Kentucky Army National Guard.
