News Outlook Your Hometown Newspaper May 17, 2018- 15 Dear Editor I am writing this let- . ter to the citizens of Bath County in support of my friend Walter B Shrout candidate for Bath County Judge Executive. I have known Walter Shrout for sixteen years now. I was Bath County Treasurer for more than ten years; I worked with five different :: Judge Executives during that time. I always found Walter Shrout to be a kind l and compassionate public official. I have witnessed his caring spirit for every citizen of Bath County, ev- eryonehe-would meet and everyone who came to the Judge Executive office with issues or concerns. Walter Shrout often had tough decisions to make but"he always did what was best for Bath County citizens. Many of the deci- sions and policies are still benefiting Bath County today with added revenue One very important task l was the negotiation for the donation of property for the Owingsville Bath county Sports Complex [ that our young citizens enjoy today. This is one of the top-rated sports complexes in the state of Kentucky and some- thing to be proud of by all citizens. Walter Shrout always practiced a spirit of co-operation with all local offiCials and the mayor of all three incorporated cit- ies and will continue to co-operate with them for the advancement of Bath County as a community ready to welcome growth and industry. In closing I would urge you as citizens of Bath County to get out and vote on May 22 2018 for Walter B Shrout.
