participated in the 2012
Kentucky Association of
Circuit Court Clerks Sum-
mer College held June
12-13 in Frankfort. The
KACCC hosted the college
and the Kentucky Associa-
tion of Counties sponsored
the event. The event in-
cluded 6.25 hours of con-
tinuing education credit
for the circuit clerks.
"The college was an op-
portunity for circuit clerks
to get fresh insights about
the day-to-day operations
of the offices," said Loret-
ta Crady, Hardin County
circuit clerk and newly
elected president of the
KACCC. "We also dis-
cussed how some upcom-
ing distance learning can
provide Continuing educa-
tion for us without all of the
travel and how the circuit
clerks' new SharePoint site
will make it easier to share
information and ideas. Us-
ing technology means we
can do more with less in
spite of ongoing budget re
ductions."
Circuit 'court clerks
and Administrative Office
of the Courts personnel
served as presenters for
the college, which includ-
ed- sessions on handling
jury trials and domestic
violence reports, records
management, accounts
receivable and personnel
matters. The circuit clerks
also received updates on
driver licensing, the bud-
get, legislation and the
Trust for Life program.
The KACCC sponsors

organ and tissue donation
through driver licensing
and the Kentucky Organ
