News Outlook August 05, 2021 - 13 COMMUNITY A flash flood last Thursday night led to catastrophe in Nicholas County. Several homes were damaged and one resident was killed. Cleanup is ongoing. if you would like to help donations are being taken at'the new armory' in Carlisle. They are currently seeking plastic totes, laundry detergent, trash bags, general cleaning supplies, face masks, dehumidifiers, "box fans, heavy duty extension cords, pressure Washers, work gloves and other items for demo andflcleanVU'p.
