News Outlook II I I By Mae Stewart Since I am having trouble getting photos of my family, I have decided to be- gin telling my own life's sto- ry. It is going to be a doozy. This past week I have been making zucchini relish. It is really good. I had to buy the zucchinis. I have also had red peppers. I have also been shucking and canning pole beans. I want some tomatoes, if anybody has any, green, yel- low, or red,.so that I can them and make yellow tomato pre- serves. I have two campers for sale, priced very cheap. One is $300, and another is $750. If you are interested in buy- ing them, call me at 674- 9243 Your Hometown Newspaper i i i i PICKSHElq00J NEWS i i COMMUNITY August 29, 2013 - 7 I I used to take a big part in the Bath County Senior Citizens Center, when it was located on Main Street. I would get up every morning, even in the snow, and walk to town from my home and open the doors before 8 in the morning. We had the Pecesetters group, and we walked all the time. I won an award at the Bluegrass State Games one year because I had walked more miles than any- body, over 2000 miles in a month. The Seniors were also very active with dances. I helped to organize them for 15 years, and we had them at the old pavilion, at the Lions Club, and at the old high school. Bath County Class of 1988 25th Cla00s Reunion!
