Recording PR'S were Carrie Staviski 20:15.00, Kristin Riddle 23:07.00, Hannah Bussell 23:34.00, Shelby Hedges 24:36.00, Gwenn Conley 25:27.00, Logan McNabb 18:51.00, James Overholser 21:42.00 and Zack Martin 22:56.00. Bath County's Evan Staviski, Murray State Cross Country in OVC Championships The Murray State University menrs and women's cross coun- try team competed in the Ohio Valley Conference Cham- pionship in Oxford, Alabama, hosted by Tennessee-Martin. The women finished fifth out of the 12 OVC teams com- peting. The men- finished eighth, to match their best fin- ish under head coach Jenny Severns. Meagan Smith led the Racers finish- ing in 18:07.37 and coming in 15TH and setting a personal record. Caroline Grogan followed in 20th with a time of 18:15.66, which was a personal record for th freshman. Emma Gilmore crossed the finish line 35th in 18:39.98. The Racers were rounded out by Alicyn Hester in 37th (18:48.31), Kati Hell in 40th (18:56.61), Leah Krause in 55th (19:28.26), and Em- ily Flaherty in 56th (19:35.07). The men were led by freshman, Gavin Galanes in 30th with a time of 25:44.12, which was a personal record. Mark Ventura fol- lowed in 39th with a time of 26:08.71.
