During the event, Searcy picked up ~ational certifications with the National Narcotics Drug Dog Association and with the National Association of Police Canine Handlers. She took her second place from a field of over 30 other K-9 teams from the fed- i~ral, state, and local law enforcement. Officer Lyons said that Searcy has .already assisted with two local drug searches since she went on duty in September. ~"She's going to be good for the city," Lyons said.
