Bath County News-Outlook Your Hometown Newspaper Jan . 5, 2011 3 Ralph Jouefi Shrout Mary Lou Pergrern Hargis Wafters James Lee "Jlmmy" Fletcher Jr. Ralph Jouett Shrout, 86, of Parrish Road, Richmond, KY, formerly of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington. He was born in Bath County, Kentucky on May 20, 1924 the son of the late Ralph Marvin and Lucille Williams Shrout. He was a former employee of Ashland Oil and retired from The Walker Company: He was a member of Mary Lou Pergrem, 47 of Owingsville, Ky died on December 31, 2010. She was born on June 19, 1963 to Shafter Jr. and Enda Mae Montjoy King. She was a homemaker. Survivors are her husband Jamie Pergrem of Owingsvi!le, her father Shafter King Jr of Owingsville, three sons Jeffery Lee Blankenship, Russell Wayne Purvis, and Hunter James Pergrem all of Owingsville, two step sons James Emitt Pergrem of Sharpsburg, and Josh Pergrem of Owingsville, two daughters Jennifer Renee Blankenship and Tonya Lynn Blakenship of Owingsville, one step daughter Nora Nicole Pergrem of Sharpsburg, one sister Donna Clay Pergrem of Owingsville, seven grandchildren also survive She was precededin the Donaldson Road death by her mother Baptist Church and Edna Mae-King, one a veteran of the U. S Army having served in WW II. He is survived by his wife, Mary O. McVey Shrout of Richmond, KY; one son, John (Lee Ann) Shrout of Richmond, KY; one daughter, Peggy (Larry) Kelley of Richmond; special children, Mary Margaret Patterson of Texas, Mary Ring of Mt. Sterling, and Ricky Miller of California; one brother, William J. (Della) Shrout of Mt. Sterling; a sister, Mar:y Jan (Lewis) Talbott of. Gocoa Be,FL; and. three grandchildren Funeral services were 11 AM, Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Crouch officiating and burial following in the Longview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Shrout, Steve Shrout, Charles Isaac, Larry Shrout, Tim Shrout, and Shaun Shrout. Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Walker, Jr Omer Wilson, Jim Jolly, Pee Wee Townsend, and Earl Conyers. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Thompson Hood Veterans Center, Roosevelt Unit, 100 Veterans Dr Wilmore, KY 40390 Military rites were performed by American Legion Post # 22. Hargis Walters, 83, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was a 'native of Montgomery County, born June 19, 1927. He was a former employee of Avon Army Depot and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by a half-brother, Dallas Walters (Carol) of Mt. Sterling; a special cousin, Katherine Stull of Hope, KY; one niece, Joan Brown (Herman) of Dayton, Ohio and several more cousins. Hargis was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Pearlie James Lee "Jimmy" Fletcher Jr 50 of Sharpsburg died on Jan. 1, 11 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, KY He was born on May 29, 1960 in Lagrange, KY James Lee Fletcher Sr. and Evelyn Jones Fletcher of Lagrange, Ky. He was a farmer. Survivors are his wife Vikit a Martin Fletcher of Sharpsburg, his morn Evelyn Jones Fletcher of Lagrange, Ky one daughter Brittney Wages of Salt Lick, Ky one son James George of Sharpsburg, Ky four grandchildren, Datlon, Logan and Bryson George and Lydia Fletcher all of Sharpsburg, two sisters Debbie Judd of Pendleton Co. and Maril:yn Fletcher of Cynthiana, two brothers John Fletcher of Mt. Sterling, Ky and Chris Fletcher of Georgetown, Ky.
