Veterans
Administration
Medical Center in
Lexington. He was
born in Bath County,
Kentucky on May 20,
1924 the son of the
late Ralph Marvin
and Lucille Williams
Shrout. He was a
former employee
of Ashland Oil and
retired from The
Walker Company:
He was a member of
Mary Lou Pergrem,
47 of Owingsville, Ky
died on December 31,
2010. She was born
on June 19, 1963 to
Shafter Jr. and Enda
Mae Montjoy King. She
was a homemaker.
Survivors are
her husband
Jamie Pergrem of
Owingsvi!le, her
father Shafter King
Jr of Owingsville,
three sons Jeffery Lee
Blankenship, Russell
Wayne Purvis, and
Hunter James Pergrem
all of Owingsville, two
step sons James Emitt

He is survived by a
half-brother, Dallas
Walters (Carol) of Mt.
Sterling; a special
cousin, Katherine Stull
of Hope, KY; one niece,
Joan Brown (Herman)
of Dayton, Ohio and
several more cousins.
