My name is Bdk.
Franklin, I am a life-long
resident of Bath County
and would love to work
for the people of this
county. I have served 12
years on the Bath Coun-
ty School Board, 3-and-
a-half years on the Ow-
ingsville City Council,
and on several commit-
tees in the past 15 years.
I have always spoken up
for what I believe will
help the people of this
county. I am not a yes
man. I believe that if you
do not speak for what is
right for the people of
your county, you are not
doing your job as a pub-
lic official. The position
of Bath County Commis-
sioner requires listening
and making the right de-
cisions on what is good
for the county. If I am
elected, I will be a com-
missioner for the people
of my district. I will have
an open on msues
that comes before me
within this office. My
number-one priority will
be roads, followed by
jail expenditures, how
we work with the new
regional jail in Rowan
County, and the cost of
housing Bath County in-
mates at this time. That
is in addition to tourism
involving all we have
to offer in agriculture,
history, and the Daniel
Boone National Forest
J
I am not in favor oi
the sale of alcohol
cause we, Bath Count
residents, have not been
fully informed about al|
that is involved. I wil
be straight-forward witl
the people of our counts

fore the Fiscal Court.
