News Outlook Your Hometown Newspaper August 16, 2012 - 3 OBITUARIES GARRY MICHAEL "MICK" MARTIN LONNIE OSBORNE SR. DEBORAH DETRICH Marlin, 60, of ML Sterling, died Thursday morning, August 9, at his residence. He was born October 14, 1951 in ML Sterling to Ada Martin and the late Ever- ett Martin. Garry was a Mont- gomery County native, an employee of Bucyrus- Caterpillar and a member of Jeffersonville Assembly of God. Garry, who was known for being a jokester, loved the outdoors, deer hunting, working on cars and most of all his family. He will be dearly missed • by his family and friends. Survivors include; his wife of 33 years, Betty Markland Martin i one son, Cody Martin of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, April Martin and Michelle Martin both of Mt Ster- ling; twobrothers, Gil- bert Martin (Kathy) of Mt. Sterling, and Leslie Martin (Debbie) of Mt. Sterling; five sisters, Judy Reed (Floyd) of Jeffer- sonville, Loretta Cornwell (Lonnie) of Jeffersonville, Patricia Hall (Danny) of Jeffersonville, Rita Wilson of Frenchburg, and Reva Wilson (Eddie) of Owings- viUe; four grandchildren, Dakota Martin, Alexis Johnson, Zachery Day and Zoey Day. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Marlin, and two brothers, Willard Martin and Troy Martin. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 11, at Jeffersonville Assembly of God. Burial followed in Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Robbie Coma offici- ated. Cofhnan-Adams Funer- al Home and Mortuary Parlor was in charge of ar- rangements. 68, of Hwy. 1274, French- burg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 9, at his residence. He was born in Artville, "Kentucky on July 27, 1944 the son of the late Walter S. and Virginia Dale Patterson Osborne. He was a social services employee and the wid- ower of Merry Lynn Brown Osborne. He is survived by two daughters, Valeria (John)) Rhodes of Mt. Sterling and Kimberly Oliver of Means, KY; one son, Scott Osborne of Jeffersonville, KY; one brother, William Os- borne of Wellington, KY; three sisters, Janice Sip- ple of Winchester, KY, Janie Roach of French- burg, KY and Sharon Patrick of Wellington, KY; seven grandchildren and eight great grand- children also survive. In addition to his par- ents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Travis Wayne Perry. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 12, at the Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. J.S. Survivors are her husband James Gold- ie, Owingsville, Ky., two daughters San- dra (Joe) Gibson and Brenda (James) Groves, both of Mt. Sterling, two sons Dusty (Debbie) Gold- ie of Mt Sterling, and Rocky Goldie of Nash- ville, TN., five grand- children, three great grandchildren, four sisters Jean Sallie and Jewell Hall, both ot Campton, Belle Couch of Versailles and Dolly Banks of Michigan, one brother Jim Banks of Campton. She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Goldie, and two broth- ers Wendall and Wil- lard Banks.
